I posted that not because its FOX but because it provided an interesting example of how charts are used to construct a perception. I mean FATSEXY didn't even notice there was anything wrong with it. If you see the sharp decline it kind of undermines the point of whatever message was being transmitted verbally. Multiply that single example into a million data points attempting to achieve similar aims, with images, charts, numbers and framing devices (concepts designed for the sole purpose of framing a debate, example, tax burden).

This will hopefully be a non partisan thread with lots of Drudge, who is among the most interesting media people on the net, but any media source applies.

Fox News getting rid of Andrew Napolitano and Glenn Beck is all you need you know.

All of the media is controlled and will only reflect what government/corporations want it to.

Not the kind of partisan misrepresentation you're going for, but I did enjoy this scare article today about how most US pork is "contaminated" with bacteria. In other words, they confirmed that raw meat is in fact raw meat.
